Ford & Mary Rutland Fitts Savannah Wedding

I love a classic Savannah wedding! Ford and Mary Rutland planned an iconic southern wedding. They opted to out of a first look which created such a wonderful buzz during getting ready. They decided to see each other when the big church doors opened for their ceremony. One of my favorite things about the day was how all of their family and friends made the trip to Savannah to celebrate with them.

After ceremony, we headed to Forsyth Park for formal portraits of the newly weds. Can we talk about how the sun was showing off!!! I’ve never seen the light so beautiful at Forsyth. The iconic Forsyth Fountain was a beautiful backdrop.

I was so excited when I heard they had chose Garibaldi’s Cafe as their reception space. It’s one of those historic buildings that transports you back in time. Garibaldi’s Cafe was originally a fire station. It has been turned into one of the cutest swanky cafes in the historic district. The food is phenomenal. Guests partied into the night. A sparkler exit was the perfect send off for the newlyweds. The pedi cab as the get-a-way was a perfect ending to a perfect Savannah day.
