The Mullis Family | Marshside Memories in Townsend, GA

There’s something extra special about documenting a family’s story over the years, and the Mullis family is one that has truly captured my heart. I first photographed them during their baby announcement with their oldest son, Kannon, and it’s been such an honor to watch their family grow. Now, with two boys filling their days with joy and adventure, their story continues—this time at their beautiful custom home on the marsh in Townsend, Georgia.

The backdrop couldn’t have been more perfect. Their marsh view is the kind of Lowcountry landscape that feels timeless, and it framed their session with golden light and sweeping views. Between playful moments with the boys, sweet family cuddles, and a few quiet glances that only parents of little ones can share, we captured the essence of life in this season.

Sessions like these remind me why I love what I do—not just taking photos, but preserving memories that families will look back on for generations. From Kannon’s first announcement to now running around with his little brother, every step has been a privilege to capture.

The Mullis family’s marshside home is more than just a house—it’s the backdrop of their story, and I can’t wait to see how it continues to unfold.
