Fall family sessions in The Landings always have such a timeless feel, and the Hieges family’s evening session along the river and golf course was full of joyful, playful moments that perfectly captured this season of life for their family.

There is something timeless about family photographs beneath the iconic Avenue of Oaks at The Lodge at Sea Island. The sweeping live oaks, winding branches, and Spanish moss create one of the most beautiful backdrops on the Georgia coast, and the Drewell family’s extended family session there felt especially meaningful.

One of my favorite things about family sessions at Palmetto Bluff is how naturally it invites families to slow down and simply be together. The boardwalks, quiet paths, glowing marsh light, and dreamy Lowcountry scenery create the perfect backdrop without ever taking attention away from the connection between a family.
